Welcome to Abundant Life!
Hi, I'm John Raskin, Pastor of Abundant Life Church of Simi Valley  
Thanks for visiting us.  I'm excited about this great abundant life that God has given to us.   My wife Donna and I have experienced it in our lives, and I desire it for you and your family.  I am inviting you to come and join us as we encounter Jesus, study His Word and worship the Great God of the universe.  Come and experience the love of Jesus Christ in Simi Valley.

We are an open Bible, evangelical church that embraces the full teachings of the Gospel and the Bible from "in the beginning" as the first words to "Amen" as the last word of the Holy Spirit's revelation of Jesus Christ.
We believe in one God in three persons. Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
We believe that Jesus is the Messiah that the Hebrew prophets foretold and that He lived a sinless life and died a substitutionary death on the Cross of Calvary for all people so that those who choose to believe in Him might live the abundant life here and now and in eternity with Him.

• We believe that Jesus is going to return, and we take Him at his Holy word that no man knows the day or the hour. 
• Until His return or until He takes us home, we believe that we are to be about our Father's business which is to love others and to bless the community where He has placed us, both as individuals and as the Church, which is His Body.
• We are a church that endeavors to embody the teachings of Jesus and His commands to love God with all our heart, mind, and strength, and to love our fellow sojourners as ourselves.
• We are a church where all are welcome. We embrace people of all creeds and cultures and socioeconomic status. 
• We embrace all who seek God as well as those who desire to grow deeper in Christ and we encourage all to follow Jesus as the Spirit leads them.
• We are a church where the lost, the broken and the hurting are embraced and made to feel like family be they rich or poor.
• We are a church where all are encouraged to be of service and to find the joy of not just loving others but allowing the Holy spirit in them to lead them into giving the gift of themselves to those around them.
• We are a church that does not take ownership of people, but we do take responsibility for their spiritual health.
• We are a church where those who do not know Jesus can find Him, those who know Him can come to know Him better, and all who know Him can follow Him and His desire for them to be the hands and feet and face of Jesus in the place where he has put them.
