Creation and the God Not Bound by Time

Faithful believers may hold a literal six-day view of creation, while others may see the days of Genesis as allowing for a much longer process because God is not bound by time. This difference does not diminish God’s glory, nor should it divide the church. What we must hold together is that God is the Creator, creation is His purposeful work, and our salvation rests in the Gospel of Jesus Christ—not in settling every question about the length of creation’s process.
